Baby, Explorers, Spooky & Festive Sessions — Terms & Conditions
By booking a Bloom Education Co. session, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Bookings
- Places are limited, and bookings are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Bookings cannot be transferred to another person without prior agreement from Bloom Education Co.
2. No Refunds for Missed Sessions
- All bookings are non-refundable.
- No refunds will be given if you are unable to attend a session for any reason.
- This includes illness, holidays, appointments, childcare issues, transport difficulties, changes in circumstances or any other reason for non-attendance.
- If you are unable to attend, your place remains reserved for you and the session remains payable.
- No partial refunds will be provided for missed sessions within a block or termly booking.
- Where possible, Bloom Education Co. may offer a transfer to another session, subject to availability, but this is at the discretion of Bloom Education Co. and cannot be guaranteed.
3. Changes or Cancellation by Bloom Education Co.
- Bloom Education Co. reserves the right to make reasonable changes to session activities, dates, times or locations where necessary.
- If Bloom Education Co. has to cancel a session, families will be contacted as soon as possible and an appropriate alternative, credit or refund will be offered.
4. Supervision
- Parents/carers must remain responsible for their child/children throughout the session.
- Bloom Education Co. sessions are not childcare or drop-off sessions.
- Parents/carers must supervise their children appropriately and ensure they are safe during all activities.
- Parents/carers are responsible for deciding whether an activity is suitable for their child.
5. Sensory Activities & Small Parts
- Sessions may include sensory play, messy play, water, food-based activities, craft materials, small-world resources and other activities involving small parts.
- Some activities may not be suitable for every child and require close adult supervision.
- Parents/carers must supervise their child at all times, particularly where small parts or materials that could present a choking risk are being used.
6. Allergies & Dietary Requirements
- Parents/carers must inform Bloom Education Co. of any relevant allergies or dietary requirements before taking part in activities involving food.
- Refreshments and food-based activities may contain or come into contact with common allergens.
- Parents/carers are responsible for deciding whether their child can safely participate in food-related activities or consume refreshments.
7. Clothing & Personal Belongings
- Many Bloom Education Co. sessions involve sensory and messy activities. Children may become wet, dirty or covered in sensory materials.
- Suitable clothing and a change of clothes are recommended where appropriate.
- Bloom Education Co. cannot accept responsibility for damage to clothing, footwear or personal belongings.
8. Illness
- Please do not attend if your child is unwell or displaying symptoms of an infectious illness.
- The no-refund policy applies if you choose not to attend due to illness.
- Where possible, Bloom Education Co. may offer a transfer to another session, subject to availability, but this is not guaranteed.
9. Behaviour
- Bloom Education Co. aims to provide a welcoming, inclusive and respectful environment for all children and families.
- Parents/carers are responsible for their child’s behaviour throughout the session.
- If behaviour presents a significant risk to the child, another child, parent/carer or member of staff, Bloom Education Co. may ask the family to leave the session.
- No refund will be provided where a family is asked to leave due to behaviour or failure to follow safety requirements.
10. Photography & Social Media
- Photographs and videos may be taken during Bloom Education Co. sessions for promotional and social media purposes.
- A photography consent/no-photo policy is completed as part of the booking process.
- Where a child is not permitted to appear in photographs or videos, reasonable steps will be taken to ensure their face is covered or that they are not identifiable in any content shared publicly.
- Parents/carers must not photograph or record other children without permission.
11. Acceptance of Terms
By booking a Bloom Education Co. session, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
Bloom Education Co. reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions where necessary. Any significant changes will be communicated to families.
